Almost DEAD MEN have their roots in the prominent punk music scene in Uppsala, Sweden. They started in the summer of 2017. The members played in the late 1970s and early 1980s in legendary Swedish bands such as Rävjunk, Stain, The Sleep and N-Liners - legendary bands from the punk scene in Uppsala, Sweden, in the seventies.
Almost DEAD MEN play almost exclusively their own material published on their own company Bogus Records. The band has previously released a CD in EP format with the songs Lady in White, Dirty Game and A Brilliant Future Wasted Growing Up.
“Our influences are mainly rock bands from the seventies, before the term “punk” was used, such as Dr. Feelgood, Dead Boys, and Dictators. But we are also influenced by other modern artists and the music becomes a special mixture of old and new.” says singer Sören G. Andersson.
